    OCBC's subsidiary, Lion Capital Management Limited ("Lion Capital") manages discretionary fund management accounts and had purchased stapled securities of CDL Hospitality Trusts for these accounts. On 16 August 2006, the aggregate holding of these accounts amounted to 34,945,000 stapled securities. Lion Capital has the discretion to exercise voting rights in respect of the 34,945,000 stapled securities in CDL Hospitality Trusts and is deemed to be interested in the stapled securities.
